The interiors of 100 Princes Street are inspired by Scottish explorers and their travels. Scottish artisan weaver, Araminta Campbell, was commissioned to create five bespoke tartans for the hotel, that adorn the walls of every bedroom and suite. A number of bedrooms enjoy stunning views across Princes Street Gardens towards Edinburgh Castle. All guest rooms are equipped with every mod-con, including charging points for a variety of devices. The Wallace is our all-day lounge, dining room, well-stocked bar, library and tasting room, guests can dine on delicious hearty fare, made using the freshest local produce while sipping on a single malt or artisan gin, or relax and enjoy traditional afternoon tea while gazing at Edinburgh Castle. Key Responsibilities of a Room Attendant:<ul><li>Change and refresh bed linens and make beds to a high standard.</li><li>Vacuum carpets, clean floors, and dust all surfaces.</li><li>Clean and sanitise bathrooms, replenishing amenities as required.</li><li>Empty bins and remove Room Service trays.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms and corridors.</li><li>Report any maintenance issues or lost property promptly.</li><li>Ensure compliance with health and safety and hygiene standards.</li></ul> What are we looking for?<ul><li>Attention to detail and high cleaning standards.</li><li>Ability to work independently and efficiently.</li><li>Friendly and professional attitude.</li><li>Knowledge of cleaning products and safety procedures.</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and hotel standard.</li><li>Flexibility and reliability.</li></ul> Red Carnation Hotels is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
