Job Summary:We are looking for someone who can assist the Food and Beverage team in making restaurant reservations to sell all Food and Beverage outlets. The person must have a basic knowledge of how restaurants operate and must have previous computer experience. Minimum Requirements:· Matriculation certificate (or the equivalent)· Diploma or certificate in Hotel Management· Must be computer literate in Microsoft word and excel· Previous experience in restaurant reservations is required Key Responsibilities: · Making restaurant reservations through the use of professional telephone etiquette· Building relationships with guests, departments and overall enhance the Oyster Box in all interactions· Ensure all information is taken down correctly and communicated to relevant departments· Liaison between guests and internal departments to ensure overall experience is spectacular· Ensure highest level of efficiency, speed of delivery and accuracy in all interactions The Oyster Box Hotel is committed to achieving an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the demographics of South Africa.
