We are recruiting for an enthusiast Concierge to join the team at Ashford Castle.

Key responsibilities of the Concierge will include:
- To present a positive first impression to our guests and ensure a warm, friendly and professional welcome
- Be familiar with guest arrivals/departures ensuring you are aware of any special requests/needs of guests
- To positively utilise all professional resources, contacts and acquaintances available to you in order to facilitate guest requests and fulfil their expectations
- Ensure front courtyard and all other guest areas are kept to a high standard, removing any rubbish/litter, emptying bins etc.
- To liaise with guests on any questions they might have-promote all services with the hotel
- Answer phonecalls in a warm and welcoming manner and effectively transfer calls to correct extensions.
- To provide the Guest, at all times, with the highest level of guest care and personal attention, where possible anticipating the guests needs and initiating actions to exceed expectations where possible.
The ideal candidate for the Concierge position should:
- Have a friendly & outgoing personality.
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience in a similar role previously
- Be enthusiastic & flexible (may need to work 5 days over 7 day period, inclusive of some weekends and Bank Holidays).
- Demonstrate strong communication skills.
- Have strong attention to detail.
- Be legally eligible to work in Ireland.
- Have the ability to handle busy situations and manage your workload effectively.
