Breakfast Manager – Luxury Hotel

We are recruiting for a full time Breakfast Manager to provide quality service to our guests, in line with The Red Carnation Hotels standards.


Location: Cong, County Mayo, Ireland

Employment type: Full time

Working pattern: 5 days over 7 days (including some weekends and Bank Holidays)

Key responsibilities will include:

· Be present on the floor during breakfast and room service hours, ensuring seamless operations and providing guidance to your team.

· Manage and motivate a dedicated team, fostering a professional, caring, and positive work environment.

· Deliver personalised service to our guests, ensuring they feel valued, including addressing them by name and anticipating their needs.

· Be well-versed in our menus ensuring our guests enjoy the best of what we have to offer.

· Drive revenue through suggestive selling techniques, second servings, and ensuring every guest enjoys their dining experience.

· Ensure that every aspect of the service area is impeccably presented, and our service standards are always upheld.


What are we looking for?

· Previous experience in a similar role within a 4-star hotel or luxury service environment is essential.

· Strong communication, organisational, and team leadership skills.

· An eye for perfection and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of service.

· Experience of staff training, rotas, financial reporting, stock control and ordering.

· A passion for creating memorable experiences and building strong guest relationships.

· Familiarity with menus and beverage offerings, including bar service.

· Ability to increase sales through suggestive selling and creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere.
