Bar Waiter / Waitress - Luxury Hotel


We are looking for a Bar Waiter / Waitress to join our team on a full-time basis. We are looking for someone with previous bar experience within a Waiter / Waitress role with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail who enjoys delivering personalised service to guests. This position reports into the Bar Manager.


Location: The Lodge at Ashford Castle

Employment type: Casual

Working pattern: 5/7 days

Key Responsibilities of a Bar Waiter / Waitress:

  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring a memorable experience in the bar area.
  • Clean and prepare the bar area before service, ensuring it’s well-stocked and ready for guest orders.
  • Take orders from guests for drinks and food, delivering them promptly and professionally.
  • Always maintain the bar and service areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Work closely with the Assistant Bar Manager and Bar Manager to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest satisfaction.



What are we looking for?

  • Experience as a Waiter / Waitress in a bar setting, ideally within a luxury hotel.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure all service aspects are carried out to the highest standards.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude.
