Spa Therapist – Forbes 5* Hotel & Spa - Luxury Hotel

We are currently recruiting for a Spa Therapist to join our team at Ashford Castle.

Location: Cong, County Mayo, Ireland.

Working pattern: 5 days over 7 days (including some weekends and Bank Holidays).

Key responsibilities of the Spa Therapist will include:

• Ensuring that you provide each guest with the highest levels of personal care and attention in accordance with the Forbes 5 star expectations and Red Carnation Hotels Standards.

• Dealing with all aspects of guest contact, i.e. enquiries, bookings etc in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring accuracy & attention to detail at all times.

• Monitoring all areas of the Spa Facility ensuring that it is safe, well maintained and hygienic at all times.

• Ensuring accurate, knowledgeable, and thorough advice is provided to all guests in relation to Beauty products and brands available onsite.

The ideal candidate for the Spa Therapist position should:

• Possess an ITEC / CIBTAC / CIDESCO qualification or equivalent in body and beauty therapy and massage.

• Have previous experience working in a hotel spa, ideally in a 5 star hotel.

• Have a friendly & outgoing personality.

• Be enthusiastic & flexible (will need to work 5 days over 7 day period, inclusive of some weekends and Bank Holidays).

• Have excellent communication skills.

• Be legally eligible to work in Ireland.

• Have strong attention to detail.

• Have the ability to handle busy situations and manage your workload effectively.
