Commis Waiter – Luxury Hotel

We are recruiting for an Experienced Waiter to provide quality service to our guests, in line with The Red Carnation Hotels standards.

Location: Cong, County Mayo, Ireland

Working pattern: 5 days over 7 days (including some weekends and Bank holidays)

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing the effective and smooth operation of your allocated station within the Food & Beverage outlet, in a hands-on capacity.
Demonstrating strong product knowledge across all menu items, hotel facilities, and services available to guests.
Warmly welcoming guests to the restaurant, consistently portraying a friendly, professional, and engaging manner.
Delivering prompt, attentive, and professional Food & Beverage service at all times.
Setting up and clearing tables in accordance with established service standards.
Maintaining all food service areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, in line with daily cleaning schedules.

What we are looking for:

Previous experience in a similar role within a high-quality hospitality environment is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Legal eligibility to work in Ireland.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to service excellence.
A friendly, enthusiastic, and flexible attitude.
The ability to remain calm under pressure, manage workload effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
