Spa Attendant – Forbes 5* Hotel & Spa - Luxury Hotel

We are currently recruiting for a Spa Attendant to join our team at Ashford Castle.

Location: Cong, County Mayo, Ireland.

Working pattern: 5 days over 7 days (including some weekends and Bank Holidays).

Key responsibilities of the Spa Attendant will include:

To monitor all areas of the Leisure Facility ensuring that it is safe, well maintained and hygienic at all times.
To advise & promote leisure facilities to our Guests
To provide adequate supervision of the pool area when open, and apply the principles of preventative lifeguarding
To complete effective fitness testing and designing gym programmes for prospective users.
To carry out cleaning in all areas of the facility as per cleaning schedules.
To ensure that the agreed stock levels for linen/towel needs are maintained in-house in line with daily business levels and that pantries are fully stocked each day.
Ensuring that you provide each guest with the highest levels of personal care and attention in accordance with the Forbes 5 star expectations and Red Carnation Hotels Standards.

The ideal candidate for the Spa Therapist position should:

Possess strong organisational skills
Communicate effectively in English
Be eligible to work in Ireland
Be positive, punctual, reliable and have a flexible attitude
Have previous experience in a similar role within a four or five star hotel, Desirable.
Pool Lifeguard qualification advantageous
Have previous experience working in a hotel spa, ideally in a 5 star hotel.
Be enthusiastic & flexible (will need to work 5 days over 7 day period, inclusive of some weekends and Bank Holidays).
