We are looking for a warm and attentive Receptionist to join the team at 100 Princes Street on a full-time, permanent basis. As one of the first and last people our guests meet, you will help create thoughtful, personalised experiences that reflect the character of our hotel and the generous hospitality of Red Carnation Hotels. Working closely with your reception colleagues and wider hotel family, you will bring genuine care, attention to detail and a desire to make every stay memorable.

Working pattern: 4 on 4 off (12 hour shifts)

What you'll be doing:

You'll welcome and look after our guests throughout their stay, handling check-ins and check-outs with warmth, efficiency and close attention to detail. You'll listen carefully to individual requests and use your knowledge of the hotel and its surroundings to help create personalised, memorable experiences. Alongside preparing guest accounts and completing reception administration accurately, you'll help ensure our reception is always beautifully presented and welcoming. When a guest has a concern, you'll respond with kindness, dignity and professionalism, taking ownership wherever you can and working collaboratively with managers and colleagues to find a timely solution. Through these thoughtful interactions, you'll play an important part in bringing the individual character of 100 Princes Street to life.

What we're looking for:

Previous hotel reception experience is important for this role, ideally gained within a luxury or five-star environment. You'll be a confident and considerate communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the attention to detail and organisational skills needed to balance different guest requests and administrative tasks without losing the personal touch. Above all, we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, learns from colleagues and takes pride in helping others. You'll be comfortable working as part of a close-knit team while taking ownership of the guest experience, bringing your own personality, local curiosity and thoughtful approach to creating stays our guests will remember.
