F&B Coordinator – Luxury Hotel


We are seeking an organised, and motivated Food & Beverage Coordinator who takes pride in delivering exceptional service and administrative excellence. The ideal candidate will work in conjunction with the Director of Food & Beverage and the Food & Beverage Executive to coordinate reservations and provide admin support to a busy Food & Beverage department, while upholding the world-class standards synonymous with Ashford Castle and Red Carnation Hotels.

Location: Cong, County Mayo, Ireland.

Employment type: Part time.

Working pattern: 3 days over 7 days (including weekends and Bank Holidays) with 4 days off.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage all restaurant and event reservations through OpenTable, ensuring accurate input, weekly diary management, and timely confirmation of guest bookings.
  • Coordinate tour, group, and series bookings, communicating details clearly to relevant departments.
  • Provide professional administrative support to the Director of Food & Beverage, including preparing daily briefs, menus, reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Assist in maintaining departmental standards and compliance, supporting audits aligned with Red Carnation and Forbes expectations.
  • Uphold exceptional guest service by ensuring warm, personalised, and attentive interactions at all times.
  • Support operational planning through accurate reporting, booking oversight, and alignment with departmental business strategies.
  • Liaise closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver a cohesive, high-touch dining experience.
  • Anticipate guest needs and preferences, ensuring all special requests and important details are communicated clearly and executed flawlessly.
  • Promote a positive team culture, communicating openly and contributing to a collaborative, guest-focused working environment.

  • Previous experience in OpenTable and Opera is desired.
  • A high level of computer literacy.
