We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician to join the Maintenance team at The Lodge at Ashford Castle. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and enjoys working in a dynamic hospitality environment. Working pattern: 5 Days over 7 Days (including some weekends and Public Holidays)

Key Responsibilities as an Electrician

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the hotel, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high professional standard.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, energy efficiency, and preventative maintenance across the property.
Collaborate closely with Management, Maintenance, Housekeeping, and other departments to prioritise and coordinate daily maintenance activities.
Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective repairs to minimise downtime and disruption to hotel operations.
Ensure all maintenance work is completed with minimal impact on guests, maintaining exceptional service standards at all times.
Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, displaying appropriate signage and maintaining a proactive approach to guest and colleague safety.
Safely operate ladders, scaffolding, power tools, and other equipment in line with company policies and industry standards.
Maintain a clean, organised, and secure work environment, including the proper storage of tools, materials, and any hazardous substances.
Manage the maintenance store, ensuring stock levels, equipment, and records are maintained effectively.
Assist with general maintenance duties and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel's facilities.
