We are looking for a Casual M&E Assistant to join our family! We are looking for someone who has excellent customer service skills, interpersonal skills, attention to detail and has previous experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel environment. This is a full-time role and will be reporting into the Assistant M&E Manager.

Location: The Rubens at the Palace Hotel

Key Responsibilities of a Casual M&E Assistant:

Creating memorable experience to our guest by using emotional engagement and high attention to details.
Being familiar with all menus and all products available.
Setting up rooms for functions
Taking orders for our wonderful guests, running food & drinks to functions.
Making sure that all food service areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene.
Assisting the Assistant M&E manager with the running of events.

What we're looking for:

Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or meetings & events is preferred.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace.
A friendly, enthusiastic, and professional with a strong passion for hospitality and ensuring guests have an unforgettable experience.
Ability to work effectively within a team, collaborating with colleagues across different departments to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
